Keynotes

Expo 2009

The Big Business and Technology Expo proudly announces the 2009 Expo keynotes.

Wednesday, March 11th at Noon.

On Wednesday stop by, grab a complimentary lunch, and come to the keynote area to hear Utah Jazzman and retired NBA All-Star Mark Eaton. Enjoy Mark sharing how he went from a 7'4" twenty-one year old mechanic who couldn't play basketball to a twelve year career as an NBA All-Star with the Jazz. Since the Jazz, Mark has led Youth Organizations, been a TV personality and owned his own businesses. This will be a fun, motivational event for all.

Also on Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. enjoy former NFL Dallas Cowboys quarterback, entrepreneur and business owner Danny White speaking on the importance of continuing education in business.

Thursday, March 12th at Noon (also serving as the March Chamber of Commerce Forum).

Enjoy Ron McMillan, internationally acclaimed business trainer and coauthor of the New York Times best-seller "Crucial Conversations". Cofounder of VitalSmarts, Ron can help you achieve more in areas including team development, personal vitality, quality, communication, and results-oriented leadership. Achieve rapid, sustainable, and measurable change in behaviors within your business. Ron's training this day will focus specifically on the principles in his new best-selling book "Influencer: The Power To Change Anything." This is an excellent day to bring the entire staff for lunch, and a great keynote.

.

These speakers follow the great tradition of Business and Technology Expo keynotes, which has included Michael Gerber ("The E-Myth") in 2004, Frank Abagnail, Jr. ("Catch Me If You Can") in 2005, Hyrum Smith ("The Reality Model") in 2006, Bill Rancic (winner of NBC's "The Apprentice" starring Donald Trump) in 2007 and Dan Clark ("Chicken Soup for the Soul") in 2008.

Admission for these keynotes is free with Expo admission. The ability to do this is thanks to Prosper Learning (Mark Eaton) and VitalSmarts (Ron McMillan). We appreciate their support. We encourage visitors to enjoy lunch before or after the keynotes (located on the main level of the Expo) from one of our great restaurants.
