EXHIBITOR EVENTS

We are so proud to have Utah's best companies exhibiting at our business shows. We look forward to working with you at the Expo May 16th and 17th.

GENERAL BOOTH QUESTIONS

Booth amenities: You can supply your own booth items, but our excellent supplier is DIAMOND RENTAL who can supply practically everything. To order contact Sharon at 801.222.9311 or at sharonc@diamondrental.com, or fax your exhibitor packet order form which you'll receive in the mail. Commonly ordered items include electrical, draped tables, chairs, carpet, etc. Click here to download the exhibitor packet in pdf form.

Booth design rules: We are fortunate in our state to not have a lot of regulations. All booth amenities must be within the alotted space (nothing in the isles) unless pre-approved. Anything deemed unsafe in the opinion of the expo organizer or fire marshal (such as tipping hazards) will be required to change. The provided drape rods will support normal banners but in general are not to be used as booth support. The South Towne Expo Center does not allow helium balloons.

Set up day: Tuesday, May 15th, anytime between 8 a.m. & 8 p.m. Check in at the desk near the rear loading dock (east side) for exhibitor badges, etc. During the expo, please park in any of the main lots west or north of the South Towne Expo Center (not in the back).

Take down: Anytime after 5 p.m. (to 10 p.m.) on Thursday. No early take downs please.

INTERNET CONNECTIONS

Wired or wireless internet is available to rent through South Towne. It is $40/day ($80/show). Please get the order form here or call Keri Stephens (385.468.2281) for ordering or details.

FOOD AND TEMPORARY FOOD HANDLERS PERMITS

If you are dealing with non-prepackaged food at the show you'll need to apply with Utah Food Services, the contracted caterer for South Towne (see your rep for an application) to get permission to distribute. When approved you will also need a temporary food handlers permit from the Health Department. For information, click here. Even if you are a current food handler, you'll need a temporary permit for the show.

TICKETS AND PASSES

Each exhibitor will receive a minimum of 25 general Expo tickets which include lunch and keynotes. You may have larger amount of tickets upon request. You will also have a chance to have customized e-mailable tickets made for you as well.

DOOR PRIZES/GIVEAWAYS

We welcome giveaways from all exhibitors wishing to do so with just a few guidelines. This is a good opportunity for a little added promotion at the show. Minimum price of the giveaway (for us to help promote them) must be $100. Limit one giveaway per day. The Expo guide that will be handed out at the front door will include a list of all companies and their prizes. We will do an overhead announcement when it is time and the giveaways may also be taped and shown (slightly tape-delayed) on overhead screens. EXPO MARKETING

For our kind-of first year show, Expo marketing will be heavy including a media-wide efforts and grass roots campaigns. Included is KSL-TV, I-15 billboards, I-15 poster boards (as available) and city billboards, Media One channels, UV BusinessQ and Utah Business magazines, newspaper, the Chamber's publications, Utah Technology Council and other large company newsletters, business organization meetings (Chamber of Commerce and Corporate Alliance, etc.), business ticket distribution points, independent company ticket mailings and hand delivered ticket routes to the county's main business centers and of course, a wide-spread social media campaign.

HOTELS

The Expo's preferred hotel is the Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites in Sandy, Utah. It is located just a half mile south of the Expo Center, across the street from the South Towne Mall and many restaurants. They also offer free transportation within a 5 mile radius of the hotel for all guests. Other amenities include: complimentary high speed wireless internet, complimentary hot breakfast buffet, a heated pool, large rooms and other great services. RATES

Booth space is available by contacting UV Expos at 801.822.1333 or through your individual representative. Booths are 10' x 10' and run from $799 to $999. Additional booths are discounted at minus $100 per booth. The Great Salt Lake Business Expo will be the top show in the state at connecting businesses and helping you with your business goals.
